I began working at Somerset Eye Care in June 2011. I currently manage the front desk and scheduling for the office. I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in May 2011 with a degree in psychology. I love being part of the family here at Somerset Eye Care and getting to know all of the patients. I am learning new and exciting things that are making me consider furthering my education in this field. I just recently received my Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) certification.

I joined the Somerset Eye Care team in May of 2013. I recently worked as a medical assistant in other doctor’s offices but this is my first time working in the optometry field. I will be working primarily as an optometric technician in the office. I am a graduate from the University of Scranton where I received my degree in Biology. I am interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, especially optometry. I just recently received my Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) certification. In my free time I enjoy rooting for my Philadelphia sports teams, enjoy watching television and playing video games.

I came to Somerset Eye Care in January of 2013 as an optical assistant. My background has always been in hospitality and I've been working in the optical industry for six years and love it! I'm a certified paraoptometric assistant and in the near future I will be taking the third level certification exam. Wish me luck! My own personal experiences have made me realize the importance of quality eye care. Having worn glasses and contacts my entire life, I understand frame selection can be a worrisome process and I aim to make it as stress free as possible. Helping patients find the perfect eyewear is my favorite thing to do at the office.

I have been working at Somerset Eye Care for over 6 years. I started when I was in high school, running the scanner. Now I am in school to become a licensed optician. I like working with our patients to help them select eye wear that fits their style, their prescription, and their budget. When I am not at work or in school, I try to spend as much time as I can with my adorable 4-year-old son, Kamarley. We recently had a new addition to our family--we just had a beautiful baby girl, Amoliana in January!

I started working at Somerset Eye Care in July, 2013 and truly feel like I joined an amazing team. I have always worked in customer and patient care because I enjoy working with people. Whether I am making appointments at the front desk or assisting with frame selection, I aim to make every patients experience with our office a positive one. I have gained more knowledge in my short time at this office than I have at any other office I've worked in, and I love that the growing and changing nature of the optometry field means there will always be more opportunities to learn new things. I received my Certified Paraoptometric certification in November and eventually want to pursue the higher level certifications. Outside of work, I am an avid reader, I love to sing and play guitar and also love to cook. My husband Sean and I are Game of Thrones fanatics, we love playing board games and going on camping trips with friends and spending time with our sweet 3 year old dog, Sally.

Because I have worn either contacts or glasses most of my life, I understand the importance of quality eye care. In addition, being on the customer/patient end of the business for over 18 years makes me understand the importance of excellent customer service. I will do my best to offer the same level of customer service I have always expected for myself. It will be my responsibility to let you know when you're due for your annual eye exam, verify insurance information, and help with scheduling and anything else I can. I am accessible by phone and e-mail, although I don't actually work in the office. I am tele-commuting from my home in Tennessee!Add Description here
